How do we do it?
The discipleship program
A two-year program for students who come to university in Iași. The purpose of this program is discipling Christian students to have a biblical perspective on the professions that they are training in and the way that they live in society. The program includes an cross-cultural outreach.
The Schuman Centre for European Studies
The Schuman Centre for European Studies organizes Robert Schuman Talks and Schuman Afternoons, events that target the academic community of Iași through which we promote the Biblical perspective on the past, present and future of Europe. For more details, click here.
Club DIG
An after-school program through which we want to help children from the rural areas through activities that will develop them academically, physically and spiritually.
The Discipleship Training School
The Discipleship Training School is a 5 month school offered by YWAM under University of the Nations.
Mobilizing youth from local churches to go into cross-cultural missions
We organize short-term outreaches anually and we invite Christians professionals from Iași and the area to join us. YWAM Iași has sent outreach teams to: Moldova, Buryatia, Morocco, Tunisia, The Philippines, Spain, Malta, Tanzania, China, Greece.
Charity
Christ's care for the poor and the disadvantaged, for the stranger and the marginalized, is also our care. We organize tutoring activities and day camps for children in the rural areas, we build homes for the elderly, we collect and distribute humanitarian aid around Iași, to Tanzania, and, as a result of the war, to Ukraine.
